# Aviation Alphabet

Communication and safety are essential in aviation. The International Aviation Alphabet was established to facilitate communication between pilots and air traffic controllers. Each letter is associated with a word to identify aircraft and airport taxiways. Using this phonetic alphabet ensures maximum safety and prevents mistakes caused by familiar-sounding characters. For example, the letters E and T, as well as M and N, are often confused.

La comunicación y la seguridad son importantes en la aviación. El Alfabeto Internacional de Aviación fue creado para ayudar a los pilotos y controladores de tráfico aéreo a entenderse. Cada letra está vinculada a una palabra para identificar aeronaves y calles de rodaje en aeropuertos. El uso de este alfabeto fonético es para una seguridad óptima y evita errores causados por letras que suenan similar. Por ejemplo, las letras E y T, y M y N pueden ser confundidas entre sí.
